Vibration sensors and accelerometers installed on the assets you're monitoring feed real-time data, vibration, temperature, and other parameters, through your DCS, BAS, or SCADA system into the AVEVA PI System. From there, we set up data connectors over BACnet and Modbus, using data diodes where cyber protection calls for it.
The PI server stores that time-series data for historical analysis and trend tracking, organized around an asset framework built on the ASHRAE 223 Haystack Schema, so it's structured by asset type, location, and criticality. DSA also offers an AWS cloud option for secure storage and real-time access. Before any of it reaches analysis, the data gets cleaned: outliers removed, gaps filled, and readings aligned to the right asset.
